Baces3D is a portable manually operated 5, 6 or 7-axis measurement arm with high precision sensors to allow you to measure the surface of real physical objects either by touch or with an optional laser scanning head.

By simply tracing over the surface of any phisical object with its stylus, you capture the exact 3D coordinates directly to your computer via either RS232 serial or USB interfaces.

The digitising arms are made from either aerospace aluminium or carbon fiber and individually counterbalanced to allow effortless data capture with the utmost ease of use. Baces3D are available in a wide range of sizes and accuracy depending on your application.

 

 

Baces3D®  100/200

An ideal instrument for digitization, the Baces 3D measurement device accurately acquires data for sample pieces, whether simple or elaborate, for CAD work or CNC machining. 

Features

The ergonomic form of the heads and of the probe allows the operator a comfortable hilt of the measurement device and one easy manipulation. The internal balancing also guarantees the use of the measurement device, for long periods of work, without tiring particularly the operator.

Baces3D® 200 AR

The hangable version of the Baces 3D measuring device allows for complete rotation of the base around the sample piece. This feature increases the real volume of measure of the arm, allowing the acquisition of very bulky details.

 

The counterweight guarantees an extreme maneuverability of the system. The presence of the buttons probe allows efficient maneuvering through the use of only one hand. The support for measuring arm AR represents the ideal solution for a fast and functional installation.

Baces3D with Kreon Combination

The KREON Portable 3D Scanning Solution integrates the new KREON 3D laser scanner, Solano, into the KREON Baces measuring arm. It was designed to address challenges in reverse engineering, fast inspection, and quality control.

The KREON Solano scanner features a contact probe that is associated with the laser line for both accuracy and speed. This association enables the collection of up to 40,000 points per second at an accuracy of 50 µm.

The KREON Baces measuring arm (6 or 7 axis available) enables the inspection of difficult-to-reach areas or of parts that are impossible to move to stationary CMMs. It provides access to functionalities like scan-to-CAD comparison with color coded visualization of deviations, and gap and flush measurement
